Sketching Marathon

The one Academy's Sketch Marathon  was in a word, NUTS, AND HIGH. like drugged high.
For some really weird reason i felt really really excited, probably because i got to hang out with my friends from other courses AGAIN! WEEEE~~ back to the classical old 3P days.

ALL SEATED IN AN AWESOME ROW.

it was held at Gurney Paragon, and owh my IS IT RICH.

But who do people pay premium prices to stay in front of sewage-garbage filled coastline is something I will never be able to understand, owh well, not my problem if they fall sick :P

My college was really awesome at preparing everything and making it convenient to understand the lecture. As you can see in the photo above, that was the sketch the guest speaker was drawing and how easy he made it look.

I CAN'T EVEN DRAW A STRAIGHT LINE PROPERLY.

But that's okay. He said just be calm, and the lines do the work. It takes lots of patience and time, something which I lack in myself, except when it comes to downloading anything, that I am was patient as Buddha.

CAR POOLING IS FUN.

I picked up two of my friends on the way to Gurney. Known for its morning and evening notorious traffic crawls and traffic lights that take forever to turn green, I decided to leave really really early a 7.30am. The event was to begin at 10am.

Then this happened.

YOU CAN USE THE PIC FOR FUN, but please credit.

Maya, the resource-hog

Owh Maya. i love you so much. you're so easy to use, and renders are quick. until you decide to become a resource-hog. WHY DO YOU NEED 11GB OF RAM?

I'm working Now

...and it's different.  Different in a sense that you're stuck with a floor of people that depend on each other to get things moving smoothly for a project. Nobody can slack (punny, because we use Slack at work), this isn't your school group-work anymore. Team work has the ability to make or break a company.  And oh boy is it interesting, learning new things everyday, a complete departure from my comfort zone to say the least. However, a 9 to 5 job can take a toll on ones creativity and mind. I realised i was too tired to do anything after work. I watch movies, mind-numbing videos on Youtube, and sleep, the next day, i'm on the same cycle. The Itch The Itch to make something, anything just let that creative juice flow because it feels so dammed up in my head. I know i can do it, we all can. It's the question of when. I found this blog during my student years (i wasn't too good at blogging at the time) but i have an opportunity to use this platform...

CHoo! Choo!

Choo! Choo! you hear that? that's how my week is gonna go by this week! so many awesome assignments to be handed in this week, and trying my best NOT to rush them, but do them in an orderly manner. Also, do you realise when you have lots of work, your desktop and desktop [your desk-top] becomes more and more cluttered? Also here's a shot of my upcoming final project, in pre-vis state [ yes Farida, it's for you] Yep, i managed to sneak in a little of Portal in there. The floursack is basically Chell. It's even dressed like her!
